Corporate On-Site Chair Massage
Karin Chrysty Therapeutic Massage offers massage in the workplace. Thanks to the many companies offering massage in the workplace, employees are able to enjoy periodic relief from the effects of stress. Research on workplace massage by the Touch Research Institute at the Miami School of Medicine found that a group of 26 employees who had twice-weekly, 15-minute massage were much more relaxed than a control group of 24 employees, who were simply instructed to close their eyes and relax for 15 minutes. Those receiving massage were more alert, post-massage, according to their EEG readouts. In addition, saliva testing showed a lower level of stress hormones in their bodies. Massage recipients reported feeling less fatigued and more clear-headed than they did prior to their massage.

Consider an ongoing program to achieve long-term results.
A typical on-site massage lasts 10-15 minutes but can be increased if requested. Chair massage does not require a private room and can be offered at the employee’s workstation.
