About the Therapist

Karin Chrysty, LMT, NCTMB is a Illinois state-licensed and nationally certified massage therapist.  A native of Chicago, Ms. Chrysty attended National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois where she received her certification in therapeutic massage in 2003.  She received her certification as a Reiki practitioner through the Reiki Council in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.  She is currently working on her bachelor’s degree in natural health through the Clayton College of Natural Health.

Ms. Chrysty’s experience includes corporate on-site chair massage and events, chiropractic offices, day spas, health clubs and private practice. She has worked with a variety of alternative health practitioners and will refer her clients out to enhance the overall health experience.  Ms. Chrysty advocates a holistic approach to body, mind and spirit healing.

Ms. Chrysty is on staff at National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois.  She assists in the massage therapy program in massage fundamentals, chair massage, trigger point therapy and sports massage.  She has taught at Sanctuary School of Massage Therapy in Glen Ellyn, Illinois in the areas of body mechanics, ethics and history of massage.
